What is it about this video that creates an emotional response for me? I'm asking myself that question over and over.
Clearly the choice of music has a great impact, but when I watch it with sound muted I have much the same reaction. I think its a combination of photography and the subject (jumbo jets). The way the cinematographer in combination with the pilots made these large "lumbering" aircraft appear so strong, elegant and graceful.
I have a dear friend who flies large aircraft and he is strong, elegant and graceful. So does the person get attracted to the vehicle or does the vehicle seduce the individual? It seems the majority of the time the person and the vehicle get matches.
I have more to think about on the subject ...
