Our daughter decided to add a nice young man to our family by accepting his proposal for marriage. We delighted for Alyssa & Adam!
They started dating in college and grew their relationship in spite of living 700 miles apart for a year. In addition to their love they complement each other in so many ways - some they recognize and others they have yet to understand.
Kids these days do things differently then when I grew up (surprise I know!). They don't seem as time conscious willing to wait long then I'm use to. Combine that with Alyssa's pursuit of an MBA and its not clear when I get to walk my little girl down the aisle. Its looking like fall of 2017, but who knows. :-) I keep suggesting soon is better then later, but what do I know?!
No matter how long they choose to wait I know it will fly by just like their lives to this point. I can remember so many fond memories that seem to last forever, yet everything flew by at the same time. Strange how time warps when you mix in memories - both slow and fast at the same time.
